What is the wire to board connecto? 連接器 = 端子 + 塑膠本體或外殼

* Wire to Board Crimp style Connectors : 壓著式線端對板端 連接器

* Housing & Contact : 膠殼 & 端子 一般連接器的結構分為端子、塑膠本體或外殼

* 端子又分為兩種 Contact： 英文稱之接觸面，中文俗稱為端子，基本上與線材相連並置放在塑 膠本體裡面與對接的連接器的接觸面相接。

Terminal： 也稱為端子，可以獨立與線材連接不需要塑膠包覆，例如圓端、Y端、 歐式端子等。

* 膠體部分： 保護端子、隔離電氣、固定彈片、遮蔽雜訊、連接固定，膠體 部分也有分耐熱等級，例如UL 94V0、UL 94V2等

* 外殼： 指外部電連接器的射出成型與外殼（塑膠、金屬）。

* 內部使用的電連接器都是根據所需要的電壓與 電流來挑選，鮮少有連接介面標準，既使有也沒有 特別去定義。 例如：JST PH、XH、ZH、NH、VH…..（這些 * Housing的名稱都是JST根據客人要求的設計或是 工程師等所取的名稱）

* 內部線組而言，一般會使用Pitch的 大小來看要用什麼樣的連接器，所謂 的Pitch就是兩Pin之前的距離，這兩 Pin的距離就可以知道線可以用多粗， 線要用多粗就要看要跑的電流、電壓 與使用的環境來決定。

* 就外部線組而言，會按照要連接的傳 輸介面或是各國電源安規標準來選擇， 此外也按照設計來選擇，例如：USB、 HDMI、美規電源線等。

* Wire Harness : 線束 顧名思義，把一堆線束在一起成為一個線組，通常 為內部用線，也就是機器中或是機殼內的線組。

* Cable Assembly : 線組 通常為外部或周邊用線，由連接器與電纜線組成。

* Electrical Connector : 電連接器 - 這裡專指電子方面的連接器
